Beyond the Mayo™ Community

You are more than “just a tech”—and you don’t have to figure out your next chapter alone.

Beyond the Mayo™ is a community for certified surgical technologists who want to connect, grow, and explore what’s possible. Whether you love working in the OR, are curious about a new direction, or have an idea you’re ready to pursue, you belong here.

Together, we’ll:

• Explore opportunities in education, leadership, industry, writing, advocacy, and entrepreneurship.

• Share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another.

• Recognize the strengths and skills we bring beyond our clinical expertise.

• Encourage meaningful goals and celebrate progress along the way.

Growth looks different for everyone. It might mean a career change, becoming a mentor, mastering a specialty, or finding renewed purpose right where you are.

Bring your questions, your ideas, and your dreams. Let’s build your next chapter together.
